Exercise is an integral part of any treatment plan. It helps achieve a better treatment response in both acute and chronic problems. When there is moderate to significant pain levels, some patient activities may need to be modified or temporarily replaced with easier ones that reduce pain and inflammation. Once pain is reduced, then more strenuous activities or exercises can be performed.

Exercise can be easy or hard depending on your goals, and there is no best way to go about it. Dr. Simpson’s job is to find what helps the patient alleviate pain, be functional and physically fit.
